eloop5 Updates - New Feature Helps List Attrition

In our continuing efforts to help our client’s minimize list attrition and improve deliverability, we have added another new eLoop5 feature.   This new feature focuses on subscriber engagement.  If for some reason a subscriber bounced, but has engaged within a predetermined time interval, they won’t be marked as inactive and you can continue to send to them.

This feature is unfortunately not retro and will only affect future campaigns once it is activated.  If you would like to have this retro, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to receive an estimate.  Here is a possible situation in which this feature would come in handy:

Scenario – If you had a few campaigns that may have been deferred for one reason or another and some of the mail stayed in the sending queue longer than the allotted time, you may have had a number of soft bounces.  If this happened multiple times (and you reached your max bounce settings) you may have legitimate subscribers that have opened your messages in the last 30 days that would be marked as inactive.  This could really cut into your list, depending on the numbers of bounces. With this feature in place, you could review your sending practices to eliminate the deferrals, cut down on your list attrition, and continue to send to them based on their engagement.

You will be able to turn on this feature in the “Max Bounce Settings” section under “Account Properties” in the “Account Settings” section.

NOTE: By default, this feature is NOT turned on and will need to be activated to function. This new feature will be going into production late Thursday night and will be available to all eLoop5 users immediately following completion.
